The Effective Date of this Privacy Policy is January 20, 2015. This Privacy Policy applies to any website, feature, application, widget or online service that is owned or controlled by TeachNow, Inc. (“TEACH-NOW”) and that posts a link to this Privacy Policy (“Site”). This Privacy Policy only covers information collected at the Site and does not cover any information collected at any other website (unless specifically stated). This Privacy Policy describes TEACH-NOW’s information collection practices at the Site, such as the types of information TEACH-NOW collects regarding visitors to the Site and how we may use that information. This Privacy Policy covers the following: INFORMATION WE COLLECT THROUGH THE SITE Applications to a TEACH-NOW Program and Other Information You Provide to the Site TEACH-NOW offers online teacher certification programs (“Programs” and each, a “Program”). As part of the application process to our Programs, and at other times, TEACH-NOW may ask you to provide “Personal Information” (i.e., information that identifies you as a specific individual, such as your name, telephone number, mailing address, or email address), and other information about you, such as demographic information (e.g., your age, gender, race and ethnicity, or similar information), education and work history, payment information, or certain information about your preferences and interests. If we combine these types of other information about you with Personal Information, we will treat the combined information as Personal Information under this Privacy Policy. Note: This is a general audience web site and is intended for users age 18 or older. The Site is not intended for children and the Site does not knowingly collect personal information from children.  If TEACH-NOW discovers that it has inadvertently collected personal information from anyone younger than the age of 18, it will delete that information from its active databases. User Profile, Community Forums, and User Content  If you enroll in one of our Programs, you may be required to create a public “Profile” as part of your participation in Program. Your Profile may be auto-populated based on information you provide during the application process.  Your Profile includes both Personal Information (such as your name, email address, and mailing address) and demographic information (such as your education and work histories).  You may choose to supplement your Profile to include additional information about you, including a photograph. The information in your Profile will not be visible to the general public, but it will be visible to other students, instructors, and administrators of the Site and the TEACH-NOW Program in which you enrolled. The Site may provide you the opportunity to participate and post content in forums, through interactive features and through other communication functionality (collectively the "Community Forums").  You may choose, through such features or otherwise, to submit or post text, photographs, videos, questions, comments, suggestions or other content (collectively, "User Content"). Your postings in a Community Forum may be viewable only to others participating in a Program, to a specific Program group or the general public. Please note that others will have access to your Profile and User Content and may use that information or share it with third parties. We are not responsible for the actions of third parties and the use of your information and other User Content by such third parties is not subject to the protections of this Privacy Policy.  Information Third Parties Provide About You We may receive information about you from third parties. For example, if you are on another website and you elect to receive information from TEACH-NOW, that website will forward your contact and other information to us so that we may contact you as requested.  We will also receive and share information with third parties who jointly provide a Program and as described below. We also may supplement the information we collect with outside records from third parties in order to provide you with information, services or goods you have requested, to enhance our ability to serve you, to tailor our content to you and to offer you opportunities to purchase products or services that we believe may be of interest to you. We may combine the information we receive from those other sources with information we collect through the Site. In those cases, we will apply this Privacy Policy to the combined information. Information We Collect Automatically As You Access and Use the Site  In addition to any Personal Information or other information that you choose to submit to the Site, we and our third-party service providers, including any third-party content, advertising, and analytics providers, may use a variety of technologies that automatically or passively collect certain information about your use of the Site whenever you visit or interact with the Site ("Usage Information"). A Device Identifier is a number that is automatically assigned to your device and our servers identify your device by its Device Identifier. Some mobile service providers may also provide us or our third-party service providers with information regarding the physical location of the device used to access a Site. We may use Usage Information for a variety of purposes, including enhancing or otherwise improving the Site and our products and services.
